BPost 'Teamsport'
Every year, Belgium's national mail company 'BPost' and their philantry department picks artists to work around different themes to create limited official stamps based on said theme. I was contacted by BPost to work around the theme of 'teamsports'. The main goal was to create 2 stamps and a complementary stamp sheet that incorporated the feeling of sporting teams, togetherness and winning.
By combining different sports into one visual element, one stamp has a patchwork 'ball' as it's main graphic composition, to highlight connectivity in sporting teams. The second stamp focusses on many different sports, creating a chaotic image reflecting most games and the adrenaline rush that comes with it, all while being connected to each other. The stamp sheets highlights euphoria and the tagline 'Together We Win'.
The stamps will be released during the month of june in 2022.
